Packers defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins attempts to tackle Donovan
McNabb to no avail as he completed a 12-yard pass to Todd Pinkston
on 3rd-and-five. On the next play, McNabb completed a 47-yard TD pass
to Terrell Owens. McNabb also threw 3 touchdown passes to Brian
Westbrook and one to LJ Smith. He threw all 5 touchdowns in the first
half. McNabb threw a team record 464 passing yards before being removed
in the fourth quarter.

Philadelphia Eagles' Stat Of The Week
Donovan McNabb's 464 passing yards were the most ever by an Eagles quarterback.
It was also the most ever given up by a Green Bay Packers team. EVER! Terrell Owens
also scored his 14th TD of the season now an all-time Eagles record. Also his 161
receiving yards now gives him 7 games of 100+ yards receiving this seasson. That
is also a new Eagles franchise record. McNabb tied his career best with throwing
28 TD passes this season and tied an all-time franchise record by completing
32 passes in 1 game. Randall Cunningham had 30 TD passes back in 1990.
His final 147.8 QB rating was the best ever for one game
for any Eagles quarterback. He is also currently at 110.4, which is now the fourth best
ever by any QB one season in NFL history. Peyton Manning is currently at 126.3 (NFL record).
The other two QB's withe better season ratings are Steve Young and Joe Montana.
The Eagles scored 35 points in the first half which broke the all-time franchise
record during the regular season. The Eagles are now 23-3 in their last 26 regular season games.
Green Bay Packers suffered their worst loss since 1990, when they lost 31-0 at the Vet. Brett Favre's streak
of 36 consecutive games with at least 1 TD pass ended 11 shy of the Johnny Unitas' NFL
record of.

McNabb Is Almost Perfect In Total
Win Over Green Bay, 47-17. WOW!
Are there any more questions? Who is now the clear-cut favorite to win the NFC? That would be the
Philadelphia Eagles. They are so far head and shoulders above the rest of the NFC that you can almost
give them those T-Shirts, hats and the NFC Championship trophy now. This win over the Green Bay Packers
was not supposed to be this easy. It went way beyond a laughter. I thought the Eagles would win by maybe
5 or 6 points. Not 30! It was 44 before the Pack added two meaningless TD’s late in the game. The game
turned into an exhibition game, just 4 minutes into the fourth quarter with the score at 47-3. The
majority of the starting players were removed and sent to the benches. Brett Favre. On the bench! Donovan
McNabb. Laughing on the sidelines! On and on, all your favorite players were now watching the scrubs finish
off the game. The Linc was also virtually empty as it was clear that this game was over. Nobody in the country
saw this coming. Nobody! Not even Vegas Vic who picked the Packers to cover, but the Eagles to win the game.
Right from the start, the defense put a hurting on the Favre-led Packers’ offense forcing them to go 3 plays
and punt. The McNabb-led Eagles offense moved the ball 34 easy yards on 8 plays, before McNabb made his only
mistake of the game. On third down, he was sacked and he fumbled the ball away. Then the Eagles would score
points on their next 9 out of 10 possessions to rack up 47 points. Call it the T.O., Westbrook and McNabb
show as the game turned into a game of offensive records for the men in midnight green. The Green Bay Packers
were simply overwhelmed and completely annihilated. Donovan later said it felt like he was playing a video
game. It was like the Union Pacific’s “Big Boy” locomotive rolling downhill and moving along at a velocity
of 70 mph. In other words, there was no stopping this offense on this afternoon. The Packers never had a
chance, as their main game plan was to play a zone defense and use double or triple coverage on Terrell Owens.
That left either a safety or linebacker to cover Brian Westbrook. And to top that off, their plan was to simply
rush 4 defenders on McNabb and force errant passes or interceptions. Donovan McNabb ended passing for 464 yards,
5 TD’s and no INT’s. Both Owens and Westbrook finished with over 150 receiving yards, the first time that 2
Eagles receivers had 150+ yards in the same game since Dec. 16, 1962 against the St. Louis Cardinals.
At halftime, the Eagles had already racked up 295 total yards and scored 4 straight TD’s in the second quarter.
McNabb finished the half with 5 TD’s and QB rating of 150.1. That is almost perfect. He also broke the NFL
record for most consecutive completed passes with 24 in a row. He actually threw 10 in a row to end the Giants
game, and then completed the first 14 in this game. Joe Montana held the old record of 22 in a row. His
counterpart in Brett Favre completed only 14 of 29 passes for 131 yards with 2 INT’s. He also had a QB rating
of only 32.4. It was his worst game since he managed a QB rating of 26.8 against the Seahawks back in 1999.
Philadelphia improved their record to 11-1 overall and 9-0 in the NFC. All nine of the conference wins are by
10+ points. They also won their last 4 games by 21+ points. This was accomplished with a defense that is
starting to become a force to be reckoning with. Again, the Eagles defense stifled the opposition’s running
game. The Packers could only manage 50 yards on 18 carries. Ahman Green who rushed for over 150 yards twice
against the Eagles last season only managed 37 rushing yards and 44 total yards.
The Green Bay Packers had no answers on how to cover both Owens and Westbrook. Westbrook just killed the
unfortunate defender assigned to cover him. He ended up with 3 touchdowns. The Eagles started the second
half adding four straight FG’s on drives of 69, 54, 48 and 70 yards respectively. It seemed as though the
Eagles were not even trying hard and were simply contempt to settle for the easy 3 points on the four drives.
If Green Bay had been scoring some points in this game, perhaps the Eagles would of tried a little harder in
the second half and the score could of easily ended up being 77-31. This was no game, it was a massacre. A
complete and utter destruction of an opponent who was knocked out on the first few punches. It was also a
message to the rest of the conference. A message that was loud and clear to anyone who hoped to play in
Jacksonville in February. You better be prepared for the worst when you go through South Philly first. You
must find a way to stop Owens, Westbrook and McNabb. An almost impossible task!. Good Luck NFC.
