Philadelphia Eagles'
Stat Of The Week

In eight seasons as head coach, this is only the third opening win for Andy Reid. The last time the Eagles won their opener and did not make the playoffs was back in 1993. Danté Stallworth's 141 yards was the second best for most receiving yards by a player in his first game with the Eagles. The original record is 147 yards set by Mike Quick against the Giants on Sept. 2, 1984. The 300-yard game was Donovan McNabb's 16th of his career. The Eagles outgained 84-8 after nine minutes, outgained the Texans 433-157 the rest of the game. Also, Stallworth's 42-yard TD catch from McNabb was his longest TD in 33 games, since a 76-yarder from Aaron Brooks against the Cowboys on Dec. 28, 2003.
