Philadelphia Eagles' Stats Of The Week
The Eagles 4th quarter safety was their first in 77 games, since Dec. 7, 2003,
when Cowboys center Matt Lehr snapped the ball out of bounds in the Eagles 36-10
win at the Linc. Hank Baskett had a career-high 8 catches for 85 yards. Correll
Buckhalter's 20-yd TD catch was his first since his 55-yarder against the Redskins
in 2006. It was also Donovan McNabb's franchise-record 176th TD pass, 1 more than
Ron Jaworski threw. Pittsburgh's Willie Parker's 20 yards rushing was the fewest
in a game in which he had more than 5 carries. The Eagles 260 yards were their
fewest in a win since they had 201 in a 17-16 win over the Rams in 2005.
The Eagles Juqua Parker had 5 tackles, 2 for a loss, 4 QB hurries, a forced fumble
and a knockdown to go with 2 ½ sacks - more than he had in his previous 15
games combined. Lastly, the Eagles recorded 9 sacks, 3rd-most in franchise history.
The Eagles had 11 sacks on Sept. 15, 1991 against Troy Aikmen on the Dallas Cowboys
and on Sept. 23, 2007, they had 10 sacks at home against the Lions.
