The Eagles 4th quarter safety was their first in 77 games, since Dec. 7, 2003, when Cowboys center Matt Lehr snapped the ball out of bounds in the Eagles 36-10 win at the Linc. Hank Baskett had a career-high 8 catches for 85 yards. Correll Buckhalter's 20-yd TD catch was his first since his 55-yarder against the Redskins in 2006. It was also Donovan McNabb's franchise-record 176th TD pass, 1 more than Ron Jaworski threw. Pittsburgh's Willie Parker's 20 yards rushing was the fewest in a game in which he had more than 5 carries. The Eagles 260 yards were their fewest in a win since they had 201 in a 17-16 win over the Rams in 2005. The Eagles Juqua Parker had 5 tackles, 2 for a loss, 4 QB hurries, a forced fumble and a knockdown to go with 2 ½ sacks - more than he had in his previous 15 games combined. Lastly, the Eagles recorded 9 sacks, 3rd-most in franchise history. The Eagles had 11 sacks on Sept. 15, 1991 against Troy Aikmen on the Dallas Cowboys and on Sept. 23, 2007, they had 10 sacks at home against the Lions.

Steelers QB is tackled by the Eagles DE Trent Cole forcing a flag for intentional grounding as Juqua Parker is looking on too. The penalty took place in the end zone, so the play was ruled a safety. That gave Philadelphia a 12-6 lead 8:06 left in the game.

Pittsburgh QB Ben Roethlisberger looks back as the ball was knocked out of his hand by Brian Dawkins. Dawkins recovered the ball, which set up a FG for the Eagles, giving them a 15-6 lead. Roethlisberger hurt his hand and was forced to leave the game.
