the game and the Eagles had 4th-and-goal on the 1-yard, Eagles RB Correll
Buckhalter attempted to run the ball up the middle and was tackled short
by Adewale Ogunleye. The TD would had given the Birds a 27-24 lead.

Stats Of The Week
David Akers made 59% of his FG's from 50 yards and beyond in his first
9 NFL seasons (10-17). With his 50-yd miss in the 2nd quaretr, he is now
1 for 5 in his last 2 years. DeSean Jackson's 21-yd run was the longest
by an Eagles receiver since James Thrash had a 47-yarder against the Bucs
at the Vet on opening day day 2003 and longest by an Eagles rookie since
Ryan Moats had a 59-yd TD against the Rams in Dec. 2005. Jon Runyan had
gone 24 consecutive games without a penalty when he got a false start late in
the 1st quarter. Dan Klecko's 1st quarter sack gave him a career-high
two this year. The Bears QB Kyle Orton is the first QB to throw three
first-half TD passes against the Eagles since Jake Plummer had 3 in
Broncos 49-21 win at Invesco Field on Oct. 30, 2005 - Terrell Owens'
last game as an Eagle. Lastly, Quintin Mikell's 3rd quarter INT was the
third of his career.
